Description
Kenny Civils & Plant Ltd were contracted as one of the main drainage contractors on the M17/M18 Gort to Tuam Motorway. Works contracted to Kenny Civils & Plant Ltd included:
- Approximately 8,500 metres of Carrier Drain ranging in size from 225mm Diameter up to 675mm Diameter.
- Approximately 3,500 metres of Filter Drain ranging in size from 225mm Diameter up to 375mm Diameter.
- Approximately 6,000 metres of narrow filter drain.
- Installation of approximately 200 Manholes.
- Installation of approximately 300 Gullies.
- Excavation of approximately 3000 m3 of Rock.
- Installation of approximately 16,000.00 metres of 4 Way Communications ducting.
- Installation of approximately 50 No. bases for Street lighting including all associated ducting, mini pillars etc.
